Dates and VenuesWith the nights at last becoming lighter we are preparing our schedules for summer training.
We envisage that Tuesday evenings are favourite for most people so watch this space for further news. If anyone requires different times or wants to organise one to one training please do not hesitate to contact Gary or Ian for further details. MAP are also organising a forth coming trip to Scotland to bring on younger dogs if anyone is interested please call Gary to put your name down, remember it’s first come first served! TIMETABLE FOR CLASSES. MONDAY- 7.00PM - OPEN OBEDIENCE FOR ALL BREEDS. TUESDAY-6.00PM - ADVANCED GUNDOG TRAINING. SATURDAY-2.00PM - GUNDOG (RETRIEVER) ALL BREEDS. SATURDAY-4.00PM - OPEN OBEDIENCE FOR ALL BREEDS. PLEASE NOTE ALL CLASSES ARE EXTREMELY POPULAR AND ARE VERY BUSY. PLEASE BOOK YOUR CLASSES ASAP TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT. ALL CLASSES WILL BE CHARGED AT £9.50 PER DOG/HANDLER. We are also available for demonstrations throughout the North West, all show dates that have already been booked in will be posted on the site in due course. All MAP Instructors are fully insured and have Employers and Public liability Insurance totalling £7.5 Million. Stadt Moers Park Stadt Moers Park covers more than 220 acres of land between Whiston and Huyton and includes meadow, woodland and pond habitats, in amongst a network of footpaths. The development of the Park has been an ambitious project in the heart of Knowsley to transform formerly derelict land into the largest area of public open space in the Borough. How to get there Stadt Moers Park is located on Pottery Lane, Whiston, Knowsley, Merseyside. From the M62 junction 6 take Windy Arbor Road from the round-about, signposted to Whiston. Continue to the T junction adjacent Whiston Hospital and turn left into Greenes Lane. Follow the road round to the right over the bridge into Pottery Lane. The Visitor Centre and car park is on the left before the motorway bridge. Training at the above venue is on Tuesday from 6pm and Sundays from 1pm, please contact Gary McCarthy on 07855 413 817 to ensure enough Instructors are available to safely conduct a training session prior to attending. Wirral A new an exciting area has been secured on the Wirral near to Capenhurst, we are now training on Wednesday evenings from 6pm, this will be on going until the light fades, training will also be offered on Sunday mornings from 10am. Gary McCarthy and John Davies will be taking the classes and both look forward to welcome both you and your dog. Directions to Capenhurst Training Ground From Heswall take the Chester Road (A540) until you reach the Two Mills inter section. ( Honda Dealership on right hand side). Continue through the lights for about 1/4 mile, turn left after the Urban Farm sign posted Capenhurst. Continue for roughly 3 miles, past the Church, on the right you will see a renovated red brick farm building, turn immediately after to the right. MAP Training signs will be visable at the entrance. If anyone has difficulty finding the training ground John can be contacted on 07909 785 230 and he will guide you in. Training will not be available on Sunday 16/09/07, we will be holding classes on Wednesday's and from Sunday 23/09/07. All Locations We offer a Puppy Socialising and Novice classes. On completion of each level of training you will be given a certificate to recognise your achievement with your dog. We also have various outdoor venues for training throughout the local area and in Scotland. Woodville At MAP Working Gundogs the addition of another training facility with two large grassed areas has enabled us to expand our training capabilities. This will now allow us to divide the centre into three training areas with a designated socialising area. The centre is fully floodlit and has toilet facilities. Refreshments are available on site.
