His second run of the year was for Arfon Club and was held at the Glasfryn Shoot near Pwllheli, North Wales. Gary had a little more luck with getting to the last three dogs alongside Ian Griffiths and Wayne Mitchell.
Derek Amos also had two runs this year with his lab d Will. The test was in Shropshire for Clwyd Retriever Club, Derek and Will got to the 3rd round but unfortunately ended there. His second run was with Ian and Gary at Pwllheli, unfortunately Derek didnt make it to the 2nd round on this occassion.
Mark Hampton competing in his first trial at Checkley Wood made it to the last five dogs, this testing trial in roots was very demanding for both handler and dog, Mark did extremely well competing very strongly against seasoned veterans of the trialing world.
