Health & Safety / InsuranceSafety Policy Statement MAP Working Gundogs, recognises and accepts its responsibility as dog training specialists to clients for ensuring a safe and healthy training place and environment for all its members and any other persons who maybe affected by the actions of MAP Working Gundogs. Safety is the prime consideration for the Founder Members. We will apply this policy statement with due diligence to ensure full compliance with proactive safety management being persued at all times. MAP Working Gundogs will take steps within its power to meet this responsibility paying particular attention to the provision and maintenance of:- A safe place to train and safe access to it. A safe and healthy training environment. Equipment and systems of training that are safe. Safe arrangements for the use, handling, storage and transport of articles used in training. Sufficient information, instruction, training and supervision to enable all members to avoid hazards and to contribute to thier own safety and health whilst training. Adequate welfare facilities. Adequate First Aid facilities. Additionally, MAP Working Gundogs will ensure an active regime of Risk Assessment is applied to all the activities carried out by our members in full compliance within the mandatory minimum regulations.
