Puppy / Novice Puppy / Novice Training Course - All dogs up to 9 months of age.Puppies may attend training classes once fully vaccinated, usually from about 13 - 14 weeks of age. All dogs attending classes must be vaccinated against kennel cough - please speak to your vet. Early socialisation for young dogs is of great importance – we at MAP encourage this both on and off the lead under the strict supervision of our instructors. At this stage in his training, he will be learning to get used to wearing a collar at home, being on a lead when outside, sitting on command when the handler stops walking and generally looking like he is under control. Once the dog has learnt his name and respects you enough to return on a "recall" then we move onto the next level. |
